Looking for a good, green multipurpose hook for use all around the house? Salendro Design makes the JivJiv out of aluminum. They're shaped efficiently to reduce waste and they can be recycled at the end of their useful life. Their notched bird wings make them good for hanging onto all kinds of household items, too...

Available from Salendro Design for $29.50 per pair.

One of the coolest things about the JivJiv is that they come packaged in reused boxes from the neighborhood wine store. Check out that packaging:

Sorry to say that a nail might be just as attractive.

Cute! Much nicer than my current keyhook, which is a cheap plastic clock-type thing we grabbed at Bed, Bath & Beyond for 2 bucks from the clearance bin (it's kitschy and cute, but...well...rather out of place in anything but a late 1970s-themed living room).

The key tree at the same Etsy store, though, holds a bit more appeal to me! And actually, the two (birds & tree) go together beautifully, which I think is the point...these might go on my shopping list for future purchases, thanks!
