Those steel mounted cubes are exactly what we need. How is it possible they are so expensive? Does anyone know of something similar that are a little lower in price?

SFGail, I thought the same thing - almost $500 for 6 metal boxes?! I can see $49.95 each but that's one hell of an expensive unit. A high-end med. cabinet doesn't run that much.

I've got three of these Ikea cabinets mounted in a vertical line (with about 6" in between each) in my bath. They're deeper than a regular medicine cabinet, but not so deep that it infringes on the tight space in my bath.
The glass door goes nicely with the green hakatai tile blend I installed in the shower!

This isn't wall-mounted, but it is an idea for a small-space bathroom. We bought an IKEA PS, which is made for CD storage, and placed the tall skinny tower in the only floor space in the bathroom. The "windows" are meant to hold CD cases as artwork, but we tucked postcards in the spaces instead.

Brilliant idea, Molly Margarita! I may just run out to IKEA today to take a look at that for my postage-stamp bathroom. Thanks!

So does anybody have any suggestions for glass(y) shelves less than 16" long? I have been having a heckuva time trying to find them. Anyone?
