Man, the soap holder made me do a headsmack, like... why didn't I think of that? Simple, perfect.

I dug around a little and cannot find where I can buy this awesome soap holder. Any ideas?

I think you have to contact Marcos Shayo. I've found numerous sites with this model, including his patent application (on another site).

Here it seems you could buy it but there isn't a straightforward interface for doing so:

There was one site where he was asking who to contact if he had a product he wanted to bring to market through plumbing supply vendors in NY to avoid having to go to California to meet with such vendors as Bed, Bath, and Beyond:

It's funny he uses a shell to demonstrate the messy soapdish design - I use a shell, and it's really not that bad. I like his design though. It's a good invention and he should be able to sell them.

I know I shouldn't, but I LOVE those stones! Artistic spiders couldn't do better!

The stones are so strange... but I LOVE them! I want to hate them, but I simply can't.

I love those stones. They look very sand dollar/sea shelli-ish, but are probably less impressive close up.

Crocheted stones? Cat hair macrame, anybody?

well l like the crochet-covered stones too. Kind of old-maid-ish and fussy, but charming too. It makes me think of when women crocheted around bars of highly scented soap to make sachets---she might be using those old patterns.

The sink soap-holder is perfect---somewhat old-fashioned while being modern at the same time.

Hello everybody!

I am Marcos Shayo, I created the soapholder, and I am very pleased that you liked it.

Thank you very much for your comments. I will tressure them .

I would like to send a sample for free to anyone who can make me contact with Hotel Boutiques. Or small hotels. Here is a perfect example of the presentation for hotels. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpKHQX1jvbg
(Preferably small hotels, in big hotels like Sheraton the soap dish is glued to the benchtop.)

Best regards

Marcos

The soapholder is such a great idea! Must get one!

The stones, on the other hand, not such a great idea. And yet, I want one of those too.

I'm also drawn to the doily-ed stones, even though they're perfectly useless, and I usually despise useless items.

I like the soap dispenser, too, though I think it would get worn down by splashes from the faucet, and would likely also cause a constant trail of soap scum down the side of the sink.
