i had no idea chives flowered and looked so nice when they do.

i have them growing like crazy in my garden and yard and i've been consistently pulling them every year or cutting them down. they multiply like mad though, so be careful if you do decide to plant them -- they'll sprout everywhere.

I have that plant too; some fancypants told me it was in the "allium" family, but I thought it wasn't edible. Thanks for the info. (You eat 'em, right?)
