What was one of the biggest challenges you faced in furnishing your small home? The biggest challenges were budget and storage. We don't have a lot of closet space and we always had to think about organization and storage when designing our space. We decorated on a small budget, buying mostly from Craigslist and Ikea. We also needed to be crafty at times; One our favorite things in the apartment is a huge picture frame Marie made by hand at Home Depot.

Thanks everyone! Jane, yes the chairs are from Ikea! I think they are quite comfortable (and so does our dog). We got them about 6 months ago. They are susceptible to getting a little bit dirty/dingy because of the color but so far we've been able to keep them looking new-ish.
