Welcome to those who joined our official sign-up for the Spring Cure in Chicago, as well as our Flickr pool members! Your forms gave us good feedback on what you want out of the Cure. (If you'd still like to sign up, it's not too late...the form is below.) You told us you're looking for support, inspiration, guidance, ways to declutter, tips for double-duty rooms, and DIY ideas. A lot of you are focused on bedrooms and bathrooms (good timing since we just wrapped up bedroom month and now we're in the midst of bathroom month on AT). Click below for the weekend assignment and our list of committed Curers.

Hehe, I signed up and got my photo up, but my name isn't on the list either! (in MO, obv ;) )

I'll be joining Chicago this time. There is nothing I have in common with SF--and it's only a matter of 300 miles which one is closer!
As I have done two previous cures, I feel ready to translate (freely interpret?) AT to clearing out my basement and blogging about it.
So, if you want to feel really, really good about your space, just visit the blog.
I'd link, but blogger is acting like an errant child today.

I signed up as well, but nothing in the list.
Funny though, we actually did a big sweep through clean this weekend to make the Cure easier. Is this cheating?? :)

Nah. You have to do what you have to do in order to get moving. I say you're using your time well. There is an awful lot to the cure, actually. It's deceptive. Yes, there's all that cleaning and stuff, but there's also a lot of thinking--and sometimes one will have more emphasis than the other. That's why there's so many returnees.

I'm in, but I'm not signing up because... I am afraid to commit. :-) But definitely via photos.

I agree...and you're never really done, you know, because things are always changing/need freshening/cleaning. Also, I know few people who can afford {time and money} to get everything "perfect" all at one..
I'm excited to see my before pic above and look forward to another Cure with you guys...
As with the Fall Cure, I'm blogging my progress on my usual blog: http://blackwhiteyellow.blogspot.com/

I've posted my before pics. To get a better idea of what I did in the Fall Cure, and what I need to fix from that Cure in this Cure, look at the "That was then, This is now" set. The link is, of course, in my name.
I will be blogging my Cure at:

I'm glad Alana is with the Chicago group this Cure: she is so good at keeping everybody motivated.
First major snag in my bathroom spruce-up. I found some water damage in the wallboard behind the wood panel, which means my budget is shot.
C'est la vie!

I made some good progress this weekend - decided not to try to cure my family room this time around -- instead, I want to finish some rooms I've already started (main one is the foyer) and do a deep treatment for the whole house. I'm sure some family room projects will creep in as well :)
This weekend, we painted the foyer (you can see before pics in flickr) - I went with linen white, which is not my usual style, but I plan to go back and add stripes of glaze for some sheen. I'd post a pic of but it's really rather boring in its current state - I'll wait until the stripes are up.

Allright.....week 1! I didn't have time to start this weekend, but I'm ready for this weeks challenge.....I think I'll start with the living room/office/kitchen (It's pretty much one room anyways).

Well, Francesca, that's a warm welcome!
I must warn you though, I may not have as much time this go-round for cheerleading. I'll do my best, though.
Let the Cure begin!
