We know that keeping an organized bedroom can be challenging, especially if you're of the mindset that because it's a more private than public room, "no one will see." BUT, you see it all the time.
You have to live with it, hope for the best rest in it, and want it to reflect your tastes while still remaining a sense of cleanliness and order. Because we are continuing to blog resources, products, and ideas this month that are all about the Bedroom, we'd like to know what issues are most pressing in your boudoir.
AT wants to know:

Books! Too damn many books! They are piled in gigantic heaps everywhere. One wall of our bedroom is lined with 4-foot tall bookcases (under windows), but they've been filled for years. Even with my once-every-3-months-or-so clear-outs, they just keep a-comin'.
We are looking to rent a 2-bedroom apartment in a year or so; that second bedroom will become our library with floor-to-ceiling bookcases. That'll solve it, right?
Magazines and school stuff. I am in school for design and am constantly moving things between different bags, depending which classes I have that day - which causes school books and different bags to have a permanent messy spot in a corner. I have stacks of design magazines that either need to be read, filed or kept out for reference... they have turned into a second bedside table though, it is so high.
I am student and therefore broke! Between the growing pile of books and paperwork and the lack of money to invest in new furniture/organization, I don't know what to do with the room for next to nothing.
the clothes do pile up, but are relatively easy to pick up and put away.
it's all the 'other' stuff, like papers and half-finished projects and 'things' that are hard to get rid of...
Unfortunately I have a shoe and hand bag addiction and even more unfortunate is that when I bought my apt I didn't open the closets to see how big they were inside. My bedroom closet is all of 36 inches wide by 26 inches deep. I had to buy 2 closets from Ikea for my cloths. Most of my shoes and boots are in the the 36 x 26 closet but because I am possessed by the Imelda Marcos Syndrome I have shoes spilling out around my bed, in corners and unfortunately stored under my bed (at least 8 underbed shoe storage bags).
I am a neat freak, except when it comes to hanging up clothes. I am one of those "try on everything in the closet before settling on an outfit" people, and sadly, everything that doesn't end up on me ends up on the floor.
The most difficult part is that a slob lives there.
