We are slowly becoming earlier risers. Using lighter window shades in our bedroom has helped us wake up a little more naturally; we're almost at the point of not needing an alarm clock. Sleep is such an individual thing, and over at AT:NY, they posted a survey about how many hours people sleep (or think they *should* sleep). This got us thinking about how different people wake up ...

Oh how I wish I could have the sun on my face when I woke up. I wish the sun would be up when I got to work...
I wake up 5 minutes before the bus comes because I hit the snooze button 50 times before turning the alarm off then sleeping another hour.
i use an alarm on my cell phone. i haven't found an alarm clock that wakes me up nicely yet. they are all so harsh. waking up to a screech wth your pulse racing is no way to start a day. so far i haven't found a store that lets you HEAR the alarms first. lol
ANYWAY, i set the alarm to the sound of a phone b/c i figured my neighbor would be less annoyed by that. plus, if i do hit the snooze, it just seems like the person calling me is annoying. hahahaha
.....when the spaniels lick my nose to be let out for thier " morning business"
Use your ipod and ipod speekers. Mine has an alarm and I can set a morning playlist that wakes me up gently. I have it turning on in another room so I have to get out of bed if I want to turn it off. The other idea I had after spending time at my partner's new apt (where there is a new alarm clock that includes a light that gradually turns on, was to put a light on a timer in the bedroom. It would definately wake you up as it turned on.
Funny that there is no 'spouse wakes me option.'
Spouse wakes me. Never would get up otherwise.
Mee too, ozma...my darling boyfriend wakes me up every day.
my cats..... ;(
I have my TV set to go on at a certain time. It turns itself off after 1 hour so if I wake up and the tv is off but it light out, I know I am in trouble.
