I love the Platner coffee table, but agree the whole collection in bronze is much cooler.

You mean Warren Platner? And will I be ostracized if I said I never saw his cocktail table before? Or if I did, it never really registered.
Been a big fan of Noguchi's table though...

I like the Noguchi, but I have seen it (and it's many many iterations) over and over enough times to ever want one in my home.
The Platner I have also seen, but fortunately it hasn't been knocked off by every Room and Board type place around. Besides, it is bright and shiny...

DC Domain, yes, Warren...typing too late last night! Thanks - I corrected the post.

I prefer a Kagan coffee table, although I like the Platner very much. I wish it could be made as a dining table.

I have a Platner coffee table (bronze version) and I love it. It works well in pretty much every setting.
Greer, it is made as a dining table: http://www.knoll.com/products/product.jsp?prod_id=106&flag=cat&cat_id=10
