Royal Copenhagen is a classic brand of china from Denmark that's over 200 years old. They continue to remain relevant by inventing new variations on old patterns. Even their product shots contain contemporary twists on traditional ways to set the table...

We especially like the way these shots incorporate plants and flowers. Rather than grouped into conventional centerpieces, blooms are used to fill cups, tied loosely to silverware, or strewn across the table.

Went to the Royal Copenhagen store in Copenhagen last summer - They had beautiful patterns that I'd never seen before.

I've never been much for fussy dinnerware, but these are undeniably beautiful, classic and timeless. I think even just a piece or two would go a long way on special occasions. Of course, these are styled to the nines, but gee whiz, so dreamy...
