Le Creuset Cocktail Stirrers

061307cocktail-Stirrers.jpgWe used to have glass cocktail stirrers, a multi-colored set that we loved dearly. Sure enough, the delicate summertime accessories all shattered to pieces and now we're back to stirring gin 'n bitter lemons with spoons. After a little online search yesterday we found this brushed stainless steel Le Creuset set and thought they might be a good replacement for us.

061307cocktailstirrers.jpgWe like the look, the simple designs (the set of four includes two design pairs), and the material that won't shatter. Anyone else have recommendations for cocktail stirrers out there??

The Le Creuset set is available (and on sale) from Dishes, Decor & More for $17.99.

I'd go with acrylic. Stainless steel stirrers can easily chip, crack or break your glasses - potentially an even worse problem than shattered glass stirrers.

These are pretty, though.
