Like most things, a healthy, beautiful, and organized home is all about balance. Balance can be read figuratively or literally, of course, and in this case, the
Sensitive Drinking Bowl aims to achieve the most literal physical balance. Designed by Carl Mertens, the drinking bowl balances perfectly when full; when the contents lessens, the bowl tilts to one side.
An interesting concept that leaves us thinking: Is this just a ploy to keep your guest(s) filling up and drinking for hours on end?
Available at I.D. Chicago for $90.
I think the bowl was tilting WAAAAAY to the side when the author wrote that copy.
"The less it is filled, the more it inclines to one side. The more it is filled up, it balances out - the sensitive drinking bowl reacts to its content. It shows the different nuances between empty and full and corresponds with its user in a humorous way."

I thought that was a perfectly apt description. Here's the best I can come up with: "The bowl is tilty."
Nice bowl!
