We love all things Le Creuset, but especially the 2-1/5 quart covered heart dish. The stoneware dish may seem a bit valentine-y, but we're convinced it can move beyond such profiling and stand its ground as a stylish and useful part of any cooking collection, any time of year.
At 9" in diameter and a lid to cover, the dish (which comes in both 
they also have a pumpkin dish with a cover that i adore. the people at the chopping block use it to store salt on their countertops and that's how i'm planning to use it as soon as i get one.
Oh, tis so lovely.. wonderful idea about the salt!
