We discovered the paintings of Josh Moulton during a recent visit to Uncommon Ground's new location on Devon Avenue. The urban landscapes and Chicago-centric visions in Moulton's paintings are vibrant and warm, overlapping a slight graphic quality with the typically fluid nature of scenic painting. Moulton has studied and recreated scenes in many cities and many countries, but of course we feel the need to represent Chicago here...
