042109-brains.jpg Brain Bowl - $22: This slipcast porcelain bowl is covered with juicy brain texture and is lined with a lovely bloody red color. It's a must have for zombie fans (or neurosurgeons)!

042109-skull.jpg Skull and Cross-Utensils Dinner Plate - $16: This is a cream colored restaurant style ceramic dinner plate that has been refired to 1990 degrees. It has a handmade skull and cross-utensils image that is now fused into the glaze making is dishwasher and microwave safe!

042109-heart.jpg Pair of Anatomical Heart MINI Espresso Cups - $20: Each cup holds 3.5 oz. They have a Deco type handle that one finger fits through and like the dinner plates above (and all her other dinnerware pieces) are microwave and dishwasher safe.

ashes88, go to Z Gallerie. They have a whole selection of ceramic dinnerware with silver metallic skulls on white.

But these are a little less overstated than the Z Gallerie dinnerware. Great little touch of the macabre....

I have one of her pieces, and not only are most of her pieces dishwasher and microwave safe, but some of them are on restaurant grade stoneware, so it is almost unbreakable!

I met her at a craft fare, and she is super cool. I love the little plate I got. I will someday have a lot more of her work.

I think the brain would be better on the espresso cups--your brain reacts to caffeine, right? These aren't my taste, but they seem to have a following.
