Patrick Andrew Adams shoots the photos you always wanted to in your minds eye. Photos that because of their color or texture, focus your attention on their simplicity.

06-24-08-stickydarts.jpgPhotos that feel familiar and are almost reminiscent of your own memories, or rather what you might like your own memories to consist of.

He spent time in New York searching through neighborhoods for abandoned bikes. Drawn to their broken down state he photographed many that he came across. These photos have been showing at a local gallery for the last two months with great reviews.

Many times his work will reflect scenes that are common in nature, although not always captured on film.

This print is from his collection titled, "Weeds+Wonders+Summer." Patrick had decided to leave his day job and have an adventure. Not having had a summer off since he was a child (like most of us) he began to draw from his childhood memories as he pieced these pieces together. The rest of the series can be found here.

We hope you enjoyed his work as much as we did, more info on Patrick Andrew Adams can be found here. Hopefully it helped you remember to think outside the family portrait when it comes to filling your frames!
