Love those wall-to-wall books from Nate Berkus' apartment yesterday? Don't have the collection or don't want one for lack of space? Check out the paintings of Paul Béliveau...

His acrylic paintings of books are realistic cropped views of books on shelves. The only unrealistic thing about them is their size: some canvases are over 6' in width. At the Galerie de Bellefeuille.

actually I would really like to do a wall-to-wall book shelve. Other than useing elfa shelf, are there other cheaper alternatives? Are the Lack shelf from ikea strong enough to hold up with it filled with books?
