Cherry Blossom 2
We met artist Sally Ko at a friend's dinner party last week, where one of Ko's giant, textured, abstract paintings hung in the dining room. People talked. Some remembered the work from her days in Pilsen when Sally would open up her apartment-turned-studio for the much-loved Pilsen art walks. Others just couldn't stop staring at the colors and asked about the painter's curious methods.
The method? "Sally left her paintbrush on the counter five years ago and began pouring paint, in the vein of Jackson Pollock, to create the loose, yet controlled sensation of her paintings. Her signature large-scale paintings are explosively alive, satisfyingly rich with texture, color, and the raw emotion of an unpredictable line."

Her work is stunning! Do you know the price range of Sally Ko's paintings? I am a wanna-be art buyer, so I would love to know if I can afford her work. I must have it!
