Two more standouts from KBIS and the last of our Ann Sacks roundup: wooden wall tiles and glazed ceramic shapes. We've grouped them together here because they have a similar feel, a mid-century, very California vibe. It seems we will be seeing much more of this influence - this sort-of retro, sort-of modern earthy mix, using natural materials and organic shapes.
The mesquite tiles are open-grain and have a warm undertone. They are made in three finishes: natural which will turn reddish over time, a uv protection that will remain a brown color, and walnut stain which is a deep chocolate brown.
