We love exterior tile, especially in between exposed steel beams. We're not sure what these are made of, but we like the idea of ceramic tiles mixed with stainless steel.
Hmmm... This was my post office for years. Not a fan.

Best memory ever of that post office. Wife-to-be and I stop in to buy stamps for wedding invitations. Since they are wedding invitations, they require extra postage. Since they are wedding invitations, wife-to-be understandably wants the stamps to say "Love". Sassy, jaded, seen-it-all postal clerk says, (in best "Jerry Springer audience" voice): "55-cent LO-OVE stamps? We ain't got NO 55-cent LO-OVE stamps! Hey, Maurice, we got any 55-cent LO-OVE stamps?" Loud enough to be heard in the next zip code.

Not to be a snot, but this style is from the 60's. My California high school (built 1965) featured these tiles on nearly every building (along with the extruded aluminum accents as well).

not pictured: the long lines and begrudged service from the often 'on break' employees.

The tile is nice but holy crap that is the WORST post office I've ever been to. I've been going to this post office for 10 years and they are always, ALWAYS the worst in customer service. I feel for anyone that has to pick up a package from there.
