Agree with prior comments. I can only wish I could afford to spend $200-$400 on one chair or one lamp.

True, these are out of my price range too, but that does not mean they are not within reach if one budgets carefully and saves up.
These are way better priced than many well designed pieces are usually priced so they are within reach to more than the uber elite, those of us with more realistic budgets to some degree.
But I do agree that for many of us, $400 is a bit pricey, but take that in further, you can go down to IKEA and purchase a Kippon (I think) sofa in leather for $499 and it suddenly seems "affordable".

The Eileen Gray table at DWR is grossly overpriced when you can get them almost anywhere for a hundred less or more (Google). I've seen them as low as $125. I bought mine off of Craigslist for less than that in perfect condition (I did have to have a new piece of glass cut but even that was very cheap).
