Thank you so much Sarah. I think the Ralph Lauren Winter Garden Towels and the Hotel Collection Towels from Macy's are an extremely good deal. I've bought Ralph Lauren towels before and I remember paying a lot more than what Macy's is selling them for. Guess recession really is an opportune time to buy things, at least if you have any money. Hah! Thanks!

When my sister moved into her new home three years ago she decided to buy new towels for her home because the old ones were a bit worn and the colors were awful in the new bathrooms. For her bathroom she purchased towels from Restoration Hardware and for her young children's bathroom she purchased Thomas O'Brien towels from Target. At this point in time the $10 towels from Target look much better than RH towels. For the budget minded, these are fantastic. They have remained soft and not lost their color even with the children using them as pool towels in their backyard.

I haven't bought new towels since I moved out of home six years ago! It's been on the list for a while, but this month I am moving and, in conjunction with the Cure I am trying to generally live like an adult!

I saw some cotton/bamboo mix towels the other day. As a knitter, I know that bamboo can be absolutely luxurious, or completely horrible. Does anyone have any experiences with this? I don't remember what brand they were, but I'm in Australia, so it might be irrelevant anyway.
