The newest of the few bay restaurants, Tis Pandoras drew us in with its charm, decor, and semi-secluded balcony seating (the fresh seafood menu goes without saying!). Owned by two friends with varying backgrounds (one coming from the food industry and the other from interior design and architecture), the combination made for an unforgettable last day of a visual and culinary feast on the island. For a few, long, warm hours, we were the only table upstairs. After much conversation and ouzo with one of the owners (who was also serving us), we left feeling like we'd just dined in someone's wonderful home.

How's the food in that restaurant? I'm going to Santorini at the end of August.

needless to say, everything is effortlessly beautiful on that island... and even mediocre food tastes wonderful. If anyone doubts there is a heaven, they obviously haven't toured the greek isles....
ah, I shall return one day.... mark my words....

BruinToo: the food was outstanding. Giant squid, mussels, lots of feta and olives of course...
worth the trek down and even the trip back up! (if you have a car rental, you can drive down.)

Watch out, Satorini is known to erupt prematurely.
