We've been on the hunt for a sharp luggage tag. This range of
colored leather ones from Designers Guild is a good start.
Oprah endorses them on her site's "O List," where they're listed at $10, while the Design Solutions site says $15. Wonder if Oprah madness upped the price?? Other leather travel stuff we love: passport wallet ($35, left) and the travel wallet ($75, right).
All items here are available at Design Solutions, which doesn't yet have an online store. Call their CT shop for more details on products at: 203-966-3116.
I'm on the hunt for some sharp luggage in general - not just the tag. I'm going on a working vacation in october and need to haul my electronic array with me (laptop, digital SLR, backup SLR, lenses, laptop, PLUS luggage and clothes for scotland and france) - and the basic backpack and pull suitcase aren't going to cut it. Seen anything cute and functional lately?

I love the Tepper Jackson Luggage Tags - bright and distinct! (but sometimes $17.) Flight 001 carries lots of unique tags and luggage (leopard print!) and they have a retail store here in Chicago, as well as online shopping.

I believe you can get them from their website

They are fun, playful and are inexpensive. You can also get them from the Flight 001 store.

I have durable suede luggage tags from the Design Guild, and found them for a few dollars at Filene's Basement.
But right now, my favorite place for great travel gear is Public I on Division. They keep expanding their selection of colorful luggage and accessories....
