Remember Jane's Urban "Backyard" Escape? Walk across that rooftop outdoor space and you'll find yourself in a vacation rental apartment she and her family renovated from a rundown condition...

We love the cozy couch, old wooden kitchen table, and paired twin beds in one restful bedroom (there are two bedrooms total). The posters over the couch are advertisements for museum exhibitions. They were saved from the garbage on a trip to Italy.

We can imagine vacationers happily returning to this pleasant retreat after long days of traipsing around Montreal.

The apartment rents by the week and is already booked well in advance. If you're interested, let us know and we'll try to put you in touch. And keep your eyes peeled for a House Tour of Jane's own home in the near future.

oh my goodness, does anyone know where this couch came from??? i have been on the lookout for a comfy loveseat for my studio, and my dream is to find one in bright blue...would LOVE the help if anyone knows!

ce_pelle: No friend-plugging here! While Jane is indeed a gracious host, we only met her when we were referred to her home for a future house tour. This apartment is right next door to her home, and she was friendly enough to let us photograph it along with her home.
