Duravit calls it "pool bathing." They claim that the rounded design of the Blue Moon tub encourages relaxation by allowing bathers to float effortlessly in the bubbly water.

The Blue Moon can be installed against a wall or freestanding. The tub depth maxes out to nearly two luxurious feet and the box base measures out to four and half feet square.
The base comes in white acrylic or a handful of wood veneers. The tub surround, or "insert panels, are also available in sleek acrylic or earthy teak.
If you love the entire look, Duravit also makes Blue Moon accessories, such as the simple wooden bench in the top photo.

These folks make superior bathroom products. I have two bathrooms outfitted by Duravit and absolutely love them. Their customer service is deplorable however.
