Flair Basin and Tap by Edwin Wong

20080331flair1.jpgWe thought we'd end bathroom month with a couple of beautiful shapes. We love the graceful cradle of the Flair basin and the petal quality of the faucet. Yet designer Edwin Wong adds a hint of fun to this elegant combination with the one connecting element, the black rubber ball...

"The rubber ball is used as a plug when the user needs a sink of water, after that, it can be pulled out and placed on top of the tap, where it won’t be lost."

We weren't able to find any purchase information on this product but we did find out that it was a finalist for a Reece bathroom innovation award in 2006. The professional blue ribbon winner turned out to be the fold-up Ripple Basin by Andrew Fowkes.
