to all the bashers- THERE IS A REASON THIS IS ON THE FRONT PAGE.

the world doesn't revolve around modern stylistic design. everybody likes something different, and there's something out there for everyone! so stop vainly criticizing and look at this for what it is. it's an unusual take on an everyday object, tacky in some circumstances but perfectly fitting in others. it's is different from what we're used to seeing and slightly old-fashioned. but that's the point!

Everything in this piece is tied together so well! It all matches withing itself, and creates a unified look with a strong finish. Please do not overlook that, and judge things not from their stylistic view, but from a clean perspective that compares this to nothing else. We don't compare cubism to realism, why should we do the same here? I like it! Even if it's not my cup of tea.

Just went to the website and bought one. I'm gonna have to agree that this is fun.

I think it's funky. I wish I could get one to match my shower curtain. I have teak soap disk, toothbrush holder, and shavign caddy. So the wood seat would match perfectly.

I'm so confused - is the full moon taking over this site? Between this and the CD shower rings I feel like I'm scouring ebay for handicrafts.

Okay, so if i was rocking a southwest theme (I'm not. I prefer Liberace-esque) I would certainly put this in my home. It's definitely different. How is it that i love this site so much but seem to disagree so radically with the majority of other readers? Oh well. I think it's hot.

I voted not, only because it's faux! Not sure I'd do this in my place, but I'm often drawn to this kind of thing.
