Italian in origin, located in Chicago. Lacava was a standout for us at last year's KBIS for the contemporary design and nice use of materials in their bath goods. We bookmarked them last year and are happy to show off some of our favorites now, for bathroom month.
At left is the Lacava Luce solid surface sink. More below the jump...

REALLY love their sinks and countertops. First saw them at The Chicago Design Show in the Merchandise mart. Hard to find good distribution here in the states. The material is so sensuous to the touch. Kinda like honed white Corian, but, "finer".
Also, not sure of pricing- but ,like most things Italian (except for Orchietti!)- I bet it ain't cheap.
Lacava is based in Chicago and sold through Community or Plumbing Supply I think?
You can order off their website. I just ordered a discontinued sink basin at 40% off. Everything is very, very beautiful. But very, very, expensive. A vanity with sink, shelf, drawers, shelves etc. is thousands of dollars. I've come to realize that at this level, the design centers that carry these types of lines are trying to get at least 25k out of a bathroom remodel.
