Now that the days are getting a little cooler, we're looking forward to entertaining at home and warming up our guests with a nicely stocked bar. Instead of buying a brand new liquor cabinet, why not go green (and maybe save some cash in the process) by repurposing a vintage or thrift store find into a home bar?
- A vintage industrial Epiphone Cabinet from Factory 20 has been re-envisioned as a modern bar, with a door for beers and a hutch for glasses.
- Flea marketer extraordinaire Eddie Ross transformed a fluted column side table into a bar with little more than a new coat of paint and some strategically arranged liquor bottles.
- Christy and John found an antique medicine cabinet that fit perfectly inside a nook under the stairs. They added a wall shelf for drink glasses and...voila...a perfect home bar!
- Alex's console table is a DIY project that's easy for just about anyone to pull off. Find an antique silver tray, artfully arrange some booze on it, and give it a place of honor in your home.
- Sam's DIY mini bar was made from a vintage stereo cabinet. He added a wine rack to spruce it up.

No words to describe how genius the epiphone (was I sick that day in school when they explained what an epiphone is?) beer cooler is...

Where's the console table from in the fourth picture? I've been looking for something similar to this for weeks.

Also no clue what an epiphone is...I guess I'll just check back later and hope that someone has posted their wisdom...

we used an old vintage armoire with legs to become our little mini bar. we lined the bottom with glass and the back with mirror and hung wine glass racks under the top. we love it!!

@lex2190, it looks similar to the Fresca console table from CB2

or the Parsons console from West Elm

Still can't quite figure out the Epiphone part, but that cabinet is ridiculously awesome.

Epiphone is a brand name ~ This is listed as an 1930's Edison Epiphone Cabinet ~ maybe it was used as storage for a recording or a dictation machine in some type of an office.
From what I can find they used to make amplifies for guitars later on it looks like the brand Epiphone was bought by the Gibson Guitar Company.
