After AT reader Barry tipped us off to Jubilee Furniture, we made the trek to suburban Carol Stream to scout for vintage finds. (Important to note: The store is only open on Fridays from 3-8 pm and Saturdays from 9-4 pm.)
This trip may have been our best thrift store experience ever. The warehouse was full of mid-century pieces at garage sale prices, the volunteer staff was friendly and helpful, and we even met a few other AT readers (including this family that found a child-sized chair for their baby boy). Click below to see photographs of some of our favorite pieces...
Proceeds from Jubilee Furniture sales go towards faith-based community outreach in Wheaton and DuPage Counties. The staff is all volunteer, and they're always on the lookout for donations (make sure to read the guidelines of what they do and don't accept.)

Holy smokes--the only thing cuter than a little baby is a little baby sitting in a little chair.

These are amazing pieces! I just bought a mid century dining set off Craig's List for $300 and wonder now if I spent too much. Great find!

I'm definitely heading out first thing Saturday morning! I want to make it before all the good stuff is gone because this store is getting so much play online!
