A friend of ours in Michigan is thinking of doing a "feature wall" in their home and they like retro styling...it was thanks to them that we featured these great vintage style doors last year and now they've sent us a new tip on these wallpapers...

does wallpaper go above or below the chair rail when used in combination with paint?

Agh, I LOVE the style behind the pink chair. I want it for my hallway. Wonder if it's available in France...

I love these too - and have been so obsessed with wallpaper these days! I actually posted about these specific ones on my blog not too long ago.

You should keep in mind that the pricing is for SINGLE rolls (most wallpapers come in double rolls these days). Not such a bargain after all.

Wait--they've carried the wallpaper onto the FLOOR behind the pink chair. Who does that?!?

I have been looking everywhere for a chair just like that pink one! Does anyone know where I can get one?

ditto on where you can get the pink chair (but maybe in a different color)

That wallpaper is sold in continuous rolls (with less waste) and are 27" wide vs. the usual 18" double rolls you might find at Home Depot or Lowe's. And they are handprinted.
And by the way, instead of putting your paper above or below a chair rail, run it from floor to ceiling on one wall and paint the other walls the paper's background color - just like they did in the 50's. (Looks sweet!)
