Best of Modern Wallpaper: Trove

...they wowed us with their uniqueness and beauty. The papers are very pretty, but not traditionally so, in fact there is just a tiny touch of something sinister to them. The feel is very modern and while definitely inspired by flowers, birds and nature, they are not overly "sweet". They retain a definite edge - thanks to the unusual treatment of the images and misty, dark color palettes. Take a look:

Cool in an uber minimalist space, but it would detract from almost any decor. HST, I love Lo and Indie.

Oh man, the black bird one reminds me of "The Birds," which I guess could be cool for a hardcore fan. Other than that, I think the Ankaa one is beautiful.

I think these are gorgeous, the sense of motion some of them convey is great.

I'd like to see a whole room, or at least a whole wall -- especially on prints like indi (the birds), where repetition would take away the whole impact of the design. Beautiful in these photos though!

Stunning designs! There is also a great "green" wallpaper line by WALLTAT that has both temporary and permanent install options. They have a really beautiful bird theme wallpaper as well.
