Fromental seems like it has been around forever - the grand scale hand-painted wallpaper it produces just feels so "established". In actuality, it launched in 2005.
The wallcoverings are unbelievable - panoramic, non-repeat statement pieces. This is NOT "reversible decor" and the prices are stratospheric - but in terms of inspiration they are worth a second look.
There are four collections:
Chinoiserie (our favorite) are handpainted classic designs in updated colors on silk.20th Century includes 12 hand painted designs on paper and silk.
Embroidered Silk are patterns hand-sewn in silk thread onto a silk background.
Brainchild are nursery designs.
Fromental is available through interior designers, or at their studio in London.
