apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Nintendo Wall Decals by Blik

20080721nintendo1.jpgIf you fondly remember trying to find enough coins to earn Mario a 1-up or jumping frantically to avoid Donkey Kong's rolling barrels, you may want to pay attention.

You're a grown-up now, with your own house or apartment, but that only means Mom isn't around to tell you how to decorate. Jump down to see where to spend your allowance...

20080721nintendo3.jpgPioneers in their respective fields, blik and Nintendo, have teamed together to offer sets of wall decals illustrating the classic games of Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, and New Super Mario Bros.. Some of you might just smile at the idea but prefer to leave the past in the past. Yet we know enough old-school gamers who would snap these up in one boxy and pixilated heartbeat.

Our only question is...where's Zelda?!

1 set (3 sheets of multi-figure icons) sells for $75 at blik.

I like the original mario decals, its a little bit nicer design. Would be great in the game room my hubby would more than likely want when we have an actual house with a finished basement!

agreed, the older mario is teh shiz... however, at 75 per 3 sheet set, is a bit more than my adult quarter allowance will allow me to blow. the old school mario picture shown comprises 4-5 sets. 300-375 for this is really just too much. no matter how cool it would be.

Yeah a game room would be awesome! Especially if you had some old stand up arcade games or something like that.

Also a huge Zelda fan. You could get your Zelda hankerings out of the way for now with a zelda quilt from Etsy... I'm not affiliated but I think they're pretty cool.
