apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Orla Kiely Wallpaper

2007-01-31-wallpaper.jpgOrla Kiely is one of our favorite pattern designers. We are really glad to see more home goods slowly showing up in her online shop. Case in point: these wallpapers.

We think there is plenty to like about these - the natural motifs of florals and trees, the offbeat colors, the textures and use of sheer tonal colors.

The seventies meets deco meets art nouveau feel of the dark grey "Rowan Tree" pattern seems very Biba inspired - which the current Domino sites as a trend in the making. Black in decor definitely seems to be on the rise - we've been spotting dark walls everywhere.

Our favorite is the classic Kiely "Stem Print" in orange. We honestly can't imagine a room that wouldn't be happy-fied once this paper was hung.

The wallpapers are $109. per roll and are available at orlakiely.com.
