8 & 10 both take my breath away... In a good way....

5 & 7 are amazing, even though I probably wouldn't be brave enough to have them in my own place... and 8 makes my head spin! it really sucks you in.

I am strangely drawn to huge murals. Although I for sure like the more traditional styles like 1-4. The photo-realistic murals are just plain cheesy to me though. But the kids' room mural is cute, for obvious reasons.

I grew up (let's call it the late 60's, early 70's) in a house ith two wall murals. The dining room one was like looking through an open window to an Italian style garden in soft greens and golds; the one in my bedroom was a black and white line drawing of a fantasy landscape with a primary color sun and rainbow. It covered one long wall like a billboard.

Love 1 & 10. The first reminds me of Jane Austen and I would love to sleep in a room with that last mural, feeling encompassed by nature (especially living in a city). But you definitely have to be willing to do the work and take these down if you sell your home; they don't have mass appeal.

The little darlings reminds me too much of a pop art exhibit from Japan - somehow slightly disturbing in an intriguing way.

I'm saddened that the books aren't real!
