When I used to work at an art gallery, we used Armand Lee for framing and restoration several times. We knew that they would provide quality work, and their expertise in conservation and repair made them a valuable resource. Besides restoring artwork, Armand Lee also refinishes furniture, restores antiques, resilvers mirrors, and creates custom display pieces...
Prices aren't cheap, but are reasonable and fair for the work they provide. Although at times they can be a little slow, the finished product is worth the wait.

Armand Lee has worked on several of the more important pieces that I have and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Most recently the took a 1950s drawing that I have by Georges Braque and completely restored the yellowing paper. I chose a dark neutral matting for the piece and they took a standard molding they have and custom leafed it in a dark bronze color to really play up the art. No stretch of the imagination could make the services they provide cheap...but it was well worth it.
