thats a really cool idea, you kind of get the look and feel of stained glass but probably a lot cheaper and you can pull them open if you want to go back to a regular window!

Lots of Mackintosh-inspired elements there: the built-in seating and pendant lamp too.

Cute. Cute joke, b-rad. ;)
It's delicious to see Mackintosh even mentioned in passing. He doesn't get the lime light that some others do, though lord knows his style deserves the attention!

I seem to remember Mackintosh worked on the architecture while his wife, as well as his brother and sister in laws, worked on the textiles and interior decoration. For some private homes he would create the architecture and his wife would design everything from the curtains to the cabinets to the cutlery. I always thought that was a nice story, very collaborative.
So what I am getting at is this is Mrs Mackintosh inspired ;) Gotta give the lady her credit.

@MrsKJ
Mackintosh was quite the alcoholic and a few scholars have suggested that some of his later houses were essentially designed by his wife (Margaret Macdonald). They also believe that all the buildings credited to Mackintosh should be more accurately credited to both people.

I've always been a fan of Mrs. Mackintosh's textiles. This is a great example of how to use them in a modern interior! I feel inspired.
