You might remember Sam Rosen from Apartment Therapy's Walking Tour of 5 lofts in the West Loop. We gave you a sneak peek of his live/work space, which was recently reconfigured into a co-op office. Sam's renting out the co-op to people who need an inexpensive workspace and are willing to share...

At one time, Sam used this large loft as his work-from-home office. He's since moved out and transformed it into a mixed-use workspace. Sam runs his business, One Design, from a corner of the loft.

With so much extra space, Sam decided to make the loft available to other graphic designers, web developers, and self-employed professionals who may need an office away from home, but don't want to create a lot of overhead for themselves. Amenities include a T-1 Internet connection, kitchen and bathroom, furnishings such as a desk and work table, security camera, and Sam's friendly office dog.

Rental rates are $20/day, $90/week, and $300/month. Renters share the space with other co-op members.

AT's original tour of the loft is here. It's since been transformed from a live/work loft into a workspace only, but the tour gives a decent idea of the layout and style. For more information from Sam, click here.
where would one look to find that circular table in the first picture?...
seems easy enough, but i've been looking for essentially that table to go with a couple of light jacobsen chairs of my own.

Yuk, pets in offices. V. bad news for people with allergies or phobias.

PS a Mattson table is often paired with Jacobsen tables in Scandinavia.

Phobias? Really?
I'm sure the renters know about the dog in advance, and if they don't want a dog around, they don't have to rent there.
