Working at home takes a certain type of personality: someone who's organized enough to get things done but open-minded enough to take some risks. These traits reveal themselves time and again in the homes of people who are able to gracefully pull off this tricky balancing act...
It has its challenges, but working from home ultimately offers a lot of rewards as well, including the ability to manage your own day, take a walk, or steal a snack break when you need to. And then there's our favorite thing about working from home... not having to dress up!

Separate from the live/work thing, these are just gorgeous interiors. #6 is my favorite.
My husband works from home (from our dining table) and loves it. I think I would be too easily distracted.

Notice how they almost all have super-high ceilings? I think that's what makes them work so well.
