Streamlined Office Spaces

We envy those who can keep a desk as clean as the ones shown above. An uncluttered workspace supports concentration, especially for people who find it hard to work in an environment with distractions. If you're in this group, the streamlined, minimalist style is perfect for focusing on a project. The spaces above all have a few things in common...

A neutral color palette creates a serene backdrop in these homes. Desk areas generally have closed storage to hide the little things like computer chargers and paperclips, and papers are filed or tossed. Each of these spaces is a lesson in cord control: electronics are kept to a minimum and cords are hidden by desks or wall-mounted systems. For a closer look, click through the links below:

If the droopy leaved Dracaena marginata in the window was an animal it would be a euthanasia candidate. Most likely it's a result of imprecise drench and drain watering (aka poke, pour and pray). Better to use measured sub-irrigation.

For those fascinated with the first office: Check this house tour for more info
http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/chicago/house-tours/house-tour-andreas-greektown-loft-009467

or use e.g. "andreas greektown" in the AT search.

However, the Knoll desk will not be easy to source.
