Wall-Mounted Craft Stations

If you like to make things and you live in a small space, you know that organizing your supplies can be an issue. You might have a corner desk that you use as a sewing table, or maybe you use your dining room table as a work surface. If you're starved for storage space, consider looking up.

Many stores sell wall-mounted organizers designed specifically to hold crafts. Or, you can take the DIY route and make your own pegboard craft station. Another option is to repurpose a floating bookshelf or a kitchen/bathroom storage rail to hang your stuff. One of our favorite ideas comes from the Pink Sink's craft room, where a hanging fruit basket holds embroidery supplies. For more inspiration, click through the following links.

That first pic is adorable, but ridiculous. It's a non-crafty design person's idea of a craft station. AS IF we crafters could keep three different types of materials in one tiny color-coordinated shelf!

Forget the craft station... I love that wallpaper! Especially the way it works with the colors IN the craft station.

Get real. Nothing crafty is going to get done with these teeny-tiny precious little spaces. Start with an ample work surface, go from there.

I cant believe these negative postings! These are great ideas! I love all the photos, and makes me excited to have my own craft room.

Not everyone has room for a massive craft area! I have a small one that looks the same as the ones above and I can get plenty done in it. These images are great.
