Child-Friendly Public Transportation in Japan

We told you about the baby-friendly amenities at the Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. We're always on the look out for more family-friendly public transportation so we were excited to find this Japanese train.

This Omoden (Toy Train) runs on the 14.3 km Kishigawa Line. The Omoden is more a recreational train than a form of transportation but it's fun nevertheless.

There are toys, televisions airing cartoons, clean wood floors and cribs for younger babies. Eiji Mitooka also designed the similar Ichigo EC(Strawberry Train).
