Welcome back! After a five year hiatus, we started up again recording a sweet little afternoon broadcast, which we call our Children's Radio Show. This month we had Marta McKeever back from Vancouver on keyboards and vocal, Chris Domig singing with his accordion, and we were joined by special guests: Jules who just had his third birthday and three beautiful girls, Paz, Lila and Ursula, who all are between six and seven. Born and classically trained in Poland, Marta Jaciubek-McKeever has been playing piano since the age of four. In Poland she became immersed in the teachings of Emile Jaques–Dalcroze and his studies of Eurythmics, which led her to experiment with spur-of-the-moment performances and an ongoing series of improvisational pieces. Marta is currently working on a children's album and book under the name Martunia. She also performs with her Vancouver based chamber pop band e.s.l. and has toured the world with the conceptual post-pop project Fan Death. Marta enjoys most of her time caring for her little boy Romeo and in her spare time she teaches music. She is thrilled to be collaborating with Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan on Nursery Radio once again.
Christopher Domig has worked as an actor and musician in the USA and Europe and speaks German fluently. He plays piano, guitar, accordion and harmonica and has composed two albums "Hovering Above Water" and "Epithalamium". He teaches music to children and adults in NYC and loves jazz and improvisation.

About Children's Radio Shows
Inspired by Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion and the ability of the web to basically allow us to try our hand at anything, we've put together a small monthly radio show right here at Apartment Therapy.
It is devoted to music, but also includes news, special guest interviews and a story. We also sing happy birthday to those children we know have had birthdays each month, so let us know if that's happening at your house.
