This isn't a quick project, but if you love the classic video game Space Invaders as much as you love chocolate, it's definitely worthwhile. Instructables member AwajiMan shows how to make these astronomically delectable-looking filled chocolates in nine easy-to-follow steps.
You'll need invader molds to do this, of course, but the Instructable links to where you can get them. You could just make these as straightforward molded chocolates, which would omit a few of the interim steps, but we love the idea of filling these with anything from nuts to candied fruit. Yum!

these are great! I skip 2 of those steps (I don't add anything to the middle like this dude does) and I don't bother with putting the chocolate into a plastic bottle to squeeze it into the molds. It works just as well if you carefully pour from your small pan (though a little messier, maybe?) This is also really cute if you get the little Halloween ice molds from the dollar store- they have skulls and things that you can really use all year round (depending on how cool you are!)
Awesome! I bought these ice trays from a quirky shop in Yarraville, Melbourne and have been freezing champagne or vodka jelly in them. Didn't strike me to heat them up with chocolate! Thanks for the great idea =)
