The Christian Lacroix-designed Hotel du Petit Moulin has long been a destination for design-minded visitors wanting one-of-a-kind quarters in the Marais. But Lacroix also recently designed the Hotel Bellechasse in Saint Germain -- another exercise in his fearlessly personal style...

The Bellechasse website also includes a gallery of Lacroix's sketches for the rooms, like these:

Amazing rooms - I'd stay there just for the experience of those rooms!
Hey, I stayed there !!! I loved it.. So haute couture, a gem. My husband chose this hotel for me, because he knew that I loved the french "couturier".. I was quite scared to not be able to see where we were going ( becausenormally I do all the organisation job for our vacation). I can tell you, you spend a night in this hotel and you probably never want to leave! My room was not large but was so comfortable, it had a big bath which was a pure treat. The colors of the hotel are somehow sensual, and you can book a special lover package if you want to have funny games to play with your partner. http://www.lebellechasse.com/web/
