Christine’s chic home office in West Village, New York embodies stylish organization and excellent use of space. In a city where space is limited especially in a studio apartment, Christine strategically uses her furniture to create special little areas separating the living room clearly from her work space, and her work space from her bed. With handpicked vintage prints, quality pieces of furniture (I’m in love with the TV stand with scalloped detail!) and fresh flowers – you’d be surprised at the amount of tech her place holds while still keeping a fantastically feminine space.

AT Survey:
My/our style: Offbeat romantic but comfortable - only big cushy couches for me.
The inspiration for my home office/home theater: To hide as much mess and wires away as possible.

Favorite element in your space: Using furniture to create a small separate office space in a studio apartment. My wall displaying framed objects/art from my travels.
Biggest challenge in designing my space: Finding places for all my stuff while keeping the space open and clean.
Area where there is room for improvement/future projects: I’m tackling the kitchen next.
Proudest DIY (do it yourself) project: I framed a lot of random finds myself and spray painted various flea market knick knacks.
Biggest indulgence with respect to my space: My most expensive purchases besides the couch and mattress are my mirrored furniture pieces. My most regular indulgence is fresh flowers.

Best advice about organizing or incorporating tech into the home: I use a black basket to hide power strips and twisty ties to clean up wires. In terms of web stuff I use cloud storage as much as possible so I can share files among my gadgets (work/personal computers, cell phone, iPod touch). I also jailbroke my Apple TV to take advantage of sharing media from my laptop to the TV.
Dream source for stuff: ABC Carpet & Home, Amazon, Apple Store and bazaars/flea markets.

Ah, how flowers brighten up any workspace! I also love her vintage black and white lamp!!!
Great use of space, i love how it is organized.
The picture on your desk is is a nice touch. It seems like a good place to rest your eyes when you are working or just want to take your mind off the city. Love the layout. It's a good use of space. Any plans for another furniture divider for your bedroom area?
What a cute little pup!
Even though it's a modern Bureau, I think that some of our answers to petit living are the old classics. I love the 'Bureau' as it's another 'fold up' piece of furniture.
