Cindy Crawford must have done something right in her past life. Unlike Janice Dickinson, she is a bona fide super-model. She’s got a hot, successful hubby, plus kids and a career. Now, with the help of designer Michael Smith, she has a Malibu home with some spectacular Pacific coast views.

When celebrities grace the cover of an interior design magazine, we tend to scrutinize a little harder. Is she on the cover because her home is truly worthy of the attention, or did her publicist get her the gig?

We have to say, while we are not huge fans of the heavy wood and furniture in the main living spaces, when views become the artwork, we are impressed. We also like the mélange of fabrics and ethnic prints, which give the house grace, while maintaining a casual, inviting environment. Good job, super model!
