We love this bench/planter combination designed by Argentinian Juan Pablo Sammartino. Though we wonder about the comfort level of the wooden spines, we do love the way the curvy lines offset the rigid angles of the concrete planter...

We haven't found any information about whether or not the Cisca Urban Seat has actually been manufactured though perhaps a Spanish-speaking reader might be able to learn more from Juan's blog. This combination of concrete and wood would be a wonderful addition to the urban environment; we can see one serving as a window seat in a loft for example, or adding a much needed touch of green to the outside of an apartment complex...

Wow. Nothing on this site has made me drool quite like this AMAZING piece in s long, long time. Simply gorgeous. Don't mean this as a slag on Apartment Therapy either. It's just that this piece is simply beyond stunning. Love the lines! Love the cool blue plant they selected for it... Just...stunning! Wow!
I like the planter portion but the way the wood pieces are placed makes it look like some sort of lame animal. A lion.
